About the role
The U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Army Research Laboratory is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to work on cutting-edge meta-optics device research. Key responsibilities include:
- High-frequency electromagnetic simulations and optimization
- Nano/micron-scale device fabrication

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Contribute to high-frequency electromagnetic simulations and optimization
- Participate in nano/micron-scale device fabrication
- Carry out optical and electronic device measurements
Requirements
The ideal candidate should have:
- A recent Ph.D. in electrical engineering, applied physics, or a closely related field
- Hands-on experiences with commercial simulation tools such as COMSOL Multiphysics or Lumerical FDTD
- Cleanroom fabrication of metasurfaces
Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess:
- Strong theoretical and experimental skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Skills
Desirable skills include:
- Experience with nanofabrication techniques
