About the role

This position is part of the Merrill Advisor Development Program (ADP) for Financial Solutions Advisors. It involves obtaining necessary securities industry licenses, learning foundational advisor skills, and eventually progressing to become a Merrill Financial Advisor.

Responsibilities

• Obtaining Securities Industry licenses including SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 exams.
• Developing and managing client relationships, understanding and guiding clients' financial needs.
• Delivering Bank of America's core banking, investment solutions, and client care services.
• Building a portfolio of affluent and high net worth clients.
• Participating in dedicated programs, tools, and resources provided by the Academy.

Requirements

• Successfully completing the Securities Industry licenses (SIE, Series 7, Series 66).
• Proven ability to set and achieve personal and professional goals.
• Comfortable in a sales role, capable of nurturing strong relationships with clients.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work well with others.
• Ability to manage complexity, prioritize tasks, and execute in a fast-paced environment.
• Adaptable and willing to learn on the job, incorporating relevant regulatory due diligence.
• Strong computer skills and the ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in the financial service industry or sales environment.
• Experience assessing client needs, identifying/recommending solutions, and building/managing client relationships.
