About the role
CSG is hiring an M&A Analyst to support corporate development and transaction activity across North America. Working closely with senior leadership and CSG's international M&A team, you will help evaluate acquisition opportunities and support transactions from initial assessment through diligence and execution. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to work on complex transactions within a growing international defense organization.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate acquisition opportunities through company and industry research, financial analysis, valuation, and financial modeling.
- Support transaction execution, including screening, due diligence, process management, and coordination with internal stakeholders and external advisors.
- Prepare investment analyses, presentations, and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Conduct market and industry research to support transaction evaluation and strategic decision making.
- Support M&A pipeline management, reporting, transaction tracking, and process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, transaction advisory, or a related field.
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, research, and analytical skills.
- Experience evaluating companies, transactions, or investment opportunities.
- Strong written communication and presentation skills, including experience preparing materials for senior executives.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across functions and geographies.
Qualifications
- Experience in aerospace, defense, government contracting, manufacturing, or another regulated industry is preferred.
- Experience supporting transaction diligence, government-related market research, or cross-border transactions is a plus.
