Mergers & Acquisitions Counsel

About the role

O’Melveny’s Houston office is seeking an outstanding Mergers & Acquisitions Counsel with five to eight years of experience. The role focuses on middle‑market M&A, including private equity and strategic transactions for public and private clients, with preferred experience in leveraged buyouts, competitive sale processes, and joint ventures across industries such as energy.

Requirements

• Five to eight years of relevant experience.
• Strong corporate transactional background with a primary focus on middle‑market M&A (private equity and strategic transactions for public and private clients).
• Preferred experience with leveraged buyouts, competitive sale processes, and joint ventures across a broad range of industries, including energy.
• Strong academic credentials.
