Role Highlights
- Lead drafting and negotiation of purchase agreements, merger agreements, LLC/LP agreements, and ancillary transaction documents.
- Manage due diligence, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure seamless client communication.
- Participate in high-profile, cross-border, and multi-jurisdictional deals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across offices and practice areas.
Candidate Profile
- 4+ years of experience in M&A and/or private equity.
- JD from an accredited law school; admitted to Illinois (or eligible).
- Strong commercial awareness, judgment, and client service focus.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Professional, proactive, and able to thrive under fast-paced, complex deal-making environments.
