Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst
About the role
The Mergers & Acquisitions Analyst plays a key role in evaluating, executing, and integrating M&A opportunities. Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this position partners closely with the Chief Development Officer and technical teams to support strategic growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain detailed financial models, including DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution and merger consequences analyses.
- Conduct target screening, industry research, and valuation benchmarking to support pipeline development.
- Lead financial due diligence workstreams; quality of earnings review, working capital analysis, normalization adjustments and synergy quantification.
- Create and monitor business performance metrics of deals, including key performance indicator tracking, profitability analysis and trend analysis.
- Support post-close integration tracking – synergy realization, purchase accounting and performance vs. deal thesis.
Qualifications

- Strong communication skills, ability to contribute and work well on a team, bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a related field required, minimum of 4 years’ experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, corporate finance or related field, experience with financial modeling, valuation, and analytical problem-solving, demonstrated quantitative and analytical mindset, ability to work in fast-paced environments while managing competing priorities, strong collaboration skills and team-oriented mindset, ability to travel occasionally as needed.
Benefits
The typical annual salary range for this role is $80,000—$153,000 USD. Employees in this role may be eligible for our performance-based bonus and merit increases.
