Merchandising Support Analyst / Promotions Analyst

Key Duties And Responsibilites

• Work closely with Category Managers to understand the category intent of all pricing/promo activity and complexities of each state.
• Maintain and augment pricing tools to maximize sales & profitability.
• Provide feedback and intel on discrepancies and risks with pricing/promotions.
• Maintain and update pricing assignments for each store.
• Create and maintain cost support agreements.
• Conduct post-execution validation and troubleshooting.
• Participate in post-audit and reconcile pricing/promotional data.
• Create and distribute standard pricing reports and contract store lists.
• Create ad hoc reports and participate in special projects.
• Execute promotional setups and ensure accurate rebate funding.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's/4 Year Degree
• 4+ Years Relevant Work Experience
• No Management Experience Required

Specific Knowledge And Skills

• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
• High degree of collaboration required
• Strong analytical skills
• Advanced Excel reporting usage
• Competency with Business Intelligence systems (Power BI, Circana)
• High School Diploma plus 3 to 4 years experience with heavy PC usage
• Previous Category Analyst experience and college education preferred
