Merchandising Specialist-Castleton, IN-Full-time

Schedule

6 days per week, including weekends, mostly morning hours (6:00 AM–12:00 PM). 2–3 afternoons per week from 3:00–4:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries into store location
• Balance and verify invoices, making any changes necessary
• Break down pallets (unloading boxes and trays)
• Complete inventory counts daily
• Stock and rotate bakery products on racks
• Transfer products to other locations in the area when needed
• Wrap and count empty trays for shipping pick-up
• Interact with store-level management and retail customers

Employees are primarily assigned to one location but must have their own transportation to occasionally drive surplus product to nearby locations. Mileage reimbursement is provided.

Requirements

• Must have prior merchandising and inventory experience
• Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays
• Must be able to work 6 days per week
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 30 lbs and regularly bend and stoop
• Must have reliable transportation, proof of insurance, and a valid driver’s license at the time of hire
