Compensation pay range: $17.13 - $23.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance bonuses, or premiums paid per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers on the sales floor, assist them in locating merchandise, or direct them to a parts specialist if hard parts are needed.
- Check in, price, and stock merchandise.
- Keep merchandise on the display floor fronted, full, and assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities daily.
- Change displays according to company guidelines, update planograms, complete price label changes, and ensure “sale” signs are in place.
- Remove all sale material when the sale ends and restore original pricing.
- Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
- Work with the manager to complete store weekly inventory and merchandising tasks.
- Occasionally serve as a cashier or drive a delivery vehicle to make deliveries (driving record must meet company-mandated eligibility requirements) when business needs dictate.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills.
- Ability to clearly read, write, and match numbers and letters from various sources.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be able to work well with others in a team environment.
- Desired: Previous stocking experience.
- Desired: Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Desired: Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired).
