Job Profile Summary

As a Merchandising Assistant, you will support the Merchandising Team with the implementation of billings, cost changes, customer support, and data integrity review.

Job Description

  • Cook up customer contracts by monitoring all outbound costs to customers and collaborating with the manufacturing community to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Manage regional brackets and exceptions, coordinating future cost increases and declines submitted by manufacturing associates.
  • Ensure the team accurately plugs upcoming deals, off invoices, and customized pricing to maintain strong integrity with our customer base.
  • Maintain alignment with the gross profit budget line by reviewing billings produced by the team, including flyers, bottle deposits, and customized deals.
  • Identify and communicate incorrectly set item and vendor attributes to maintain high data quality for accurate order fulfillment.
  • Communicate with customers daily and oversee tracking spreadsheets to monitor new item progress.
  • Review cost comparison reports to ensure pricing consistency with customers.
  • Generate various sales reports to validate credits owed to customers or rebills owed to the company, addressing cost mismatches between Customer Service and customers.
  • Support at least one merchandiser in their weekly tasks, focusing on gross profit and developing an extensive merchandising and marketing plan for our East Coast independent base.

Skills

  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Special Skills: Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
