Responsibilities
- Develop the Women's Sweaters, Tops & Dresses product strategy to drive profitable growth in line with brand goals
- Leverage predictive analytics and AI-driven insights to proactively identify growth pockets and optimize in-season inventory
- Build and implement channel strategy for online and retail locations
- Partner with design, production, planning, and marketing to bring product priorities to life
- Manage existing processes, systems, and calendars and create new ones to drive efficiency
- Partner with Product Development and Supply Chain to chase incremental opportunities for the brand
- Cultivate an agile, "test-and-learn" environment. Rapidly prototype category strategies based on real-time performance indicators, and pivot assortments quickly to capture emerging trends
Requirements
- 5+ years merchandising experience
- Knowledge of Women's apparel marketplace and consumer
- A growth mindset and a natural entrepreneurial approach to delivering results
- Strong leadership skills and communication skills with cross-functional partners
- Fluency with merchandising systems, business acumen, tools, and applications
- Ability to lead cross functional initiatives
- Experience utilizing AI/machine learning tools for demand forecasting, trend identification, or assortment optimization
- A proven track record of managing a P&L with an entrepreneurial "owner's mindset"—you don't just manage categories; you relentlessly optimize them for profitable growth
