About the role

This Merchandising Internship program is designed to introduce you to the various value chains across Bunge. During the program, you will learn to create sales and growth in the marketplace, developing arbitrage and risk management skills to reach and exceed profitability goals in the grain industry.

Locations: Terra Haute, IN; Prairie du Chien, WI; Huntley, MT; Rock Port, MO; Henderson, KY; Creston, IA; Morristown, IN; Council Bluffs, IA; Fairmont City, IL. Location to be determined and candidate must be willing to relocate for the internship.

Responsibilities

• Proactive development and coverage of existing sales and supplier accounts
• Development of prospective accounts
• Obtaining market knowledge and insight through continuous communication with product suppliers, customers, and transportation vendors
• Facilitating and scheduling logistics for timely product delivery using barge, rail, and truck transportation modes
• Obtain and develop merchandising skills to provide a base for future growth
• Improve Bunge's outcomes by making data-driven decisions, keeping the customer at the forefront, and proactively gaining insight into the global strategy
• Collaborate and effectively communicate with others
• Pursue opportunities to solve problems and take action while maintaining the ability to manage work

Requirements

• Currently enrolled pursuing a Bachelor's degree or MBA in Agribusiness, Economics, Business, or related discipline
• Preference for Junior status in university
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Must be a professionally aggressive, self-motivated individual
• Able to function in a fast-paced environment
• Deliver customer excellence to Bunge customers
