Responsibilities
- Greet customers on the sales floor and assist them in locating merchandise or direct them to a parts specialist if hard parts are needed.
- Check in, price, and stock merchandise; keep display floor fronted, full, and clean daily.
- Make display changes according to company guidelines, planograms, and other directives.
- Update pricing, ensure sale signs are in place, stock sales flyer racks, and maintain sufficient quantities of sale merchandise.
- Remove sale materials when promotions end and restore original pricing.
- Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
- Work with manager to complete store To-Do List and Team Weekly tasks.
- Act as a shoplifting deterrent and maintain front floor security.
- Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
- Clock in/out according to company policy.
- Pull and stage installer deliveries for delivery specialists in coordination with ISS (Installer Support Specialist).
- Serve as a communication liaison between ISS, delivery specialists, and store manager.
- Assist with determining efficient and safe routes for delivery specialists.
- Coordinate quarterly vehicle inspections and maintenance with ISS and delivery specialists.
- Maintain cleanliness in back room and installer counter areas.
- May serve as HUB Store Order Puller, pulling parts quickly and accurately from pick tickets for delivery to serviced stores.
- Receive orders from area stores, pull parts as listed on Stock Transfer tickets, and sort by store location.
- Inspect boxes for damage to ensure parts are in good condition.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area and operate safely.
Requirements
- Good aptitude for dealing with number sequences and strong organizational skills.
- Previous stocking experience preferred.
- Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
- Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
