About the Role

The Merchandiser is responsible for pricing and setting up customer stores. Reporting directly to the Merchandising Manager, you will service a geographical area, ensuring stores are merchandised according to plan-o-grams. You will assess customer sales, identify underperforming or discontinued items, and recommend replacements to boost sales and profits.

Schedule

• Monday - Friday
• Start Time: 6:00 AM - 7:30 AM (until work is completed)
• Company cell phone provided
• Car data, gas, and mileage reimbursement

Responsibilities

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily
• Provide excellent customer service
• Merchandise, stock, price, face shelves, rotate stock, and clean products and shelves at customer locations
• Arrange store shelves or display areas according to each store’s requirements
• Monitor and report potential account problems at the store level to Sales and/or Sales Manager
• Maintain safe store aisles
• Maintain assigned equipment
• Report hours to division on provided time sheets
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• 6+ months of merchandising or retail experience
• Ability to interpret and execute planograms
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance and ability to travel to customer locations
• Valid driver’s license with a clear driving record
• Frequent physical activity, including lifting products weighing 5-25 lbs. throughout the day; may lift cases or totes up to 70 lbs.
