Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation and execution of product lines from concept through definition, partnering with Design, Marketing, Product Development, Technical Design, and Supply Chain.
- Accountable for creation and maintenance of product-level data for the lifecycle of the garment from product setup to deletion from the product line.
- Manage flow of product requests for cost and development as specified; create and manage product/project calendars.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Innovation, Design, Product Development, and Quality to ensure product deliverables meet Design Briefs, Brand standards, and Business goals.
- Effectively communicate all product-level information to internal stakeholders and challenge assumptions when appropriate; manage relationships and communication flow while clearly conveying an informed perspective.
- Gather and analyze product line performance, customer, trend, and competitive data to make product line recommendations.
- Present product/project review and line analysis to external customers and internal stakeholders.
- Serve as the key contact for Customer Meeting preparation and setup.
- Report to and support the Director, Product (Bulwark Protection & Workrite Fire Services).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience in apparel manufacturing or merchandising.
- Self-motivated, able to accomplish objectives without supervision.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, internal systems, calendars).
- Strong communication skills (oral, presentation, written, interpersonal).
- Accuracy: attention to detail, strong organizational skills, with a strong sense of urgency.
- Able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, respond effectively to multiple demands, and balance/prioritize competing needs to meet objectives and deadlines.
- Knowledge of garment construction, fabric development, fabric, and garment care preferred.
