About the role

The Merchandiser is responsible for pricing and setting up customer stores. Reporting directly to the Merchandising Manager, you will drive to customer locations using a provided company vehicle to place merchandise in display areas according to plan-o-grams, ensuring optimal store layout. You will assess customer sales, identify underperforming or discontinued items, and recommend replacements to boost sales and profits.

Responsibilities

• Service assigned stores as scheduled daily.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Perform merchandising, stocking, pricing, shelf facing, stock rotating, and product and shelf cleaning at customer locations.
• Arrange store shelves or display areas according to each store’s requirements.
• Monitor and report potential account problems at the store level to Sales and/or Sales Manager.
• Maintain safe store aisles.
• Maintain assigned equipment.
• Report hours to division using provided time sheets.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (past 3 years).
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift products weighing 5–25 lbs. throughout the day; may occasionally lift cases or totes up to 70 lbs.
• Pass a background screening and drug testing.

• Able to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Self-motivated, self-starter with strong attention to detail.

Pay

Pay will range from $20.00 per hour.
