Merchandise/Warehouse Handler

About the role

Retail Merchandise/Warehouse Handler position in our Mayfield, Ohio retail showroom, performing routine receiving, assembling, janitorial, and general warehouse and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily housekeeping tasks such as emptying the trash, vacuuming/mopping walkways, and cleaning restrooms
• Receive and unload incoming product while inspecting for damages, loss, or defects; confirm order accuracy
• Assemble and prepare product for customer deliveries, showroom display, and location transfers
• Assist customers with product pickups and drop-offs, including loading and unloading as business needs require
• Work closely with visual merchandising specialist to complete floor moves and special projects

Requirements

• General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products, techniques, and methods
• Attention to detail and solid time management
• Able to work independently and prioritize workload
• Able to lift, lower, push, or pull up to 75 lbs. independently
• Mechanically inclined and able to assemble furniture using small hand tools
• High School Diploma or GED (minimum requirement)
• Experience in warehouse receiving or retail back room preferred

Pay

$16.50–$17.00 per hour, paid weekly.

Schedule

Full-time, 5-day work week: Thursday and Saturday 8:30 AM – 6:00 PM; remaining days flexible.
