Merchandise Processor - Evening Shift (Monday to Thursday 4:30pm-2:30am)
About the role
AEO is seeking full-time associates to join our Distribution Center teams. Applicants have the opportunity to interview and receive an offer in the same day.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent service to stores and customers by performing all aspects of merchandise processing including loading/unloading shipments, unpacking/packing product, ticketing, counting, and filling orders.
- Ensure a safe work environment by keeping safety a top priority.
- Perform picking, sorting, and packing orders using technology.
- Count, record, and verify quantities of merchandise for orders.
- Ensure production and quality standards are met.
- Be open to performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or some high school.
- Adaptable to change by working within different departments.
- Excellent counting skills and attention to detail.
- Maintain an excellent attendance and work record.
- Must be 18 or older.
Physical Requirements
- Lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend and stack cartons for up to 10 hours at a time.
- Stand for long periods of time and walk continuously.
- Pull merchandise from multiple levels of shelving or move merchandise as needed.
- Climb stairs and perform work at platform heights up to 60 feet.
- Lift up to 50lbs. Specific weight requirements may vary within each department.
