Merchandise Processor - Evening Shift (Monday to Thursday 4:30pm-2:30am)

About the role

AEO is seeking full-time associates to join our Distribution Center teams. Applicants have the opportunity to interview and receive an offer in the same day.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to stores and customers by performing all aspects of merchandise processing including loading/unloading shipments, unpacking/packing product, ticketing, counting, and filling orders.
• Ensure a safe work environment by keeping safety a top priority.
• Perform picking, sorting, and packing orders using technology.
• Count, record, and verify quantities of merchandise for orders.
• Ensure production and quality standards are met.
• Be open to performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or some high school.
• Adaptable to change by working within different departments.
• Excellent counting skills and attention to detail.
• Maintain an excellent attendance and work record.
• Must be 18 or older.

Physical Requirements

• Lift, carry, push, pull, reach, grasp, bend and stack cartons for up to 10 hours at a time.
• Stand for long periods of time and walk continuously.
• Pull merchandise from multiple levels of shelving or move merchandise as needed.
• Climb stairs and perform work at platform heights up to 60 feet.
• Lift up to 50lbs. Specific weight requirements may vary within each department.
