Merchandise Coordinator
Role Overview
Responsible for executing receiving and merchandising standards, ensuring efficient processing of merchandise, and maintaining a clean, organized store to provide an excellent customer experience. Models exceptional customer service and promotes a positive environment for both customers and team members. Orchestrates truck delivery and prioritizes merchandise processing onto the sales floor.
Trains and mentors associates on merchandising and processing principles
Maintains merchandise properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded
Maintains organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards
Supports safety, recycling, and hazardous waste compliance
Communicates effectively with management and team members to set priorities and monitor progress
Promotes a safe environment and adheres to policies and labor laws
Qualifications & Skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
- Strong communication, organizational, and multi-tasking skills
- Team player capable of training others and responding to change
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects with or without accommodation
- Minimum of 1 year retail experience and 6 months of leadership experience
