Merchandise Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented pricing specialist with strong brand and product knowledge to help maximize the value of donated merchandise. This role is responsible for accurately pricing apparel, hard goods, and accessories using Goodwill’s pricing structure while ensuring quality standards. The ideal candidate has an eye for recognizing high-value and unique items, maintains strong organizational skills, and supports store operations through effective merchandising and training.

Responsibilities

  • Price apparel using Goodwill’s Point of Sale system and store-specific guidelines.
  • Print and tag price tickets for textiles, hard goods, and accessories.
  • Review and verify pricing before items are placed on the sales floor.
  • Identify and process higher-end or rare items for e-commerce.
  • Train production associates on recognizing quality donations.
  • Maintain safety standards and report concerns to store leadership.
  • Support store management in maintaining visual merchandising.
  • Assist with stocking, sorting, and organizing merchandise.
  • Supervise pre-opening and post-closing shifts as needed.
  • Ensure an excellent customer and donor experience.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the store team and broader organizational goals.

Activities are subject to change or be added to meet business needs with management approval.

Schedule Requirements

Flexibility in your availability is essential to meet the needs of the business, which operates Monday to Sunday, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.
