Merchandise Associate

About the role

Deliver a high-quality customer experience by engaging with customers, maintaining store cleanliness, and supporting operational standards. May be cross-trained to assist in multiple store areas to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Model excellent customer service practices with internal and external customers
• Support a positive store culture based on honesty, integrity, and respect
• Accurately process transactions, including purchases and returns, and promote credit and loyalty programs
• Follow merchandising standards and prepare merchandise for sale
• Participate in store recovery, maintain cleanliness, and support safety initiatives
• Assist in reducing shrink and maintain organizational standards
• Perform other assigned duties as needed

Requirements

• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong communication and organizational abilities with attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and adapt to changing situations
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects with or without accommodation
• Effective teamwork and communication with colleagues and supervisors
• Retail experience preferred

Pay

Competitive salary with a pay range of $13.25 to $13.75 per hour based on skills and experience.
