Merchandise Assistant (Accessories)
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the development of a successful merchandising strategy for select categories in the musical instruments industry.
- Manages the product information system for all new launches and existing product.
- Maintains the product workflow for digital assets and copy to assist in the go-to-market process.
- Organizes and manages web samples for timely turn-ins.
- Analyzes and develops weekly reports that reflect category and item selling and margin trends.
- Affords assistance in the management of vendor communications.
- Aids in the creation and editing of product descriptions, and marketing assets.
- Accurately maintains the pricing for all products.
Professional Experience & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant work experience
- Skilled proficiency with Microsoft Excel (V-lookups, formulas, filtering, sorting, formatting)
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Ability to collaborate effectively to accomplish goals
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management and pricing
Pay
Pay Rate: $24.00- $26.81 /hr depending on background and experience.
