About the role

Manage Vehicle Flow: Oversee vehicle movement in the Service Drive, Service Shop, Car Wash, and dealership parking lot.

Assist Service Advisors: Deliver vehicles to Technician stalls, stage completed vehicles, assist with the Car Wash, and follow dealership display standards.

Customer Vehicle Handling: Ensure customer vehicles are clean and ready for return after service.

Maintain Cleanliness: Clean parking lots, service stalls, and vehicle areas when needed.

Support Service: Field customer requests and perform other tasks as assigned.

Vehicle Care and Movement: Safely handle, move, and park customer vehicles and dealership inventory while ensuring proper care to uphold dealership standards.

Vehicle Cleaning: Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning, including washing, drying, vacuuming, and wiping surfaces.

Apply wax and tire shine as needed to ensure vehicles are clean and visually appealing.

Lot Organization and Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and clutter-free parking lot and dealership premises, arranging vehicles according to lot plans and ensuring high-visibility display of marketable inventory.

Inventory and Key Management: Monitor vehicle movements, manage keys, and promptly replace sold vehicles with new inventory while maintaining accurate records.

Ensure vehicles have the correct factory and addendum stickers and display accurate selling prices.

Customer Assistance: Assist customers with vehicle pick-up and drop-off to create a smooth and positive experience.

Reporting and Compliance: Promptly report any issues with vehicles, keys, or lot organization to the supervisor, and adhere to all company policies and procedures.

General Support: Provide assistance to dealership staff with other duties as needed.

Requirements

Experience: Previous experience as a car porter or in a similar role preferred.

Driving Requirements: Must have held a valid driver’s license for at least two years and have a clean driving record.

Skills: Strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills. Customer Focus: Ability to handle customer vehicles with care and integrity. Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Reliability: Dependable and punctual.
