About the role
Mercs of OC is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team at the fastest-growing Mercedes-Benz dealership in the tri-state area. Our state-of-the-art service facility features a modern, climate-controlled environment with the latest tools and technology.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose vehicle issues using both basic and advanced diagnostic methods.
- Perform comprehensive multi-point inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Execute maintenance repairs while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
- Analyze customer concerns and symptoms to identify the root causes of vehicle malfunctions.
- Develop and document repair plans, securing customer approval before proceeding.
- Test repairs to confirm functionality and safety.
- Research technical information and consult with shop foremen to resolve complex issues.
Requirements
- Strong diagnostic skills to accurately identify vehicle issues.
- Knowledge of vehicle structures, functions, and components.
- Trustworthiness, reliability, and excellent communication skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Automotive technician certification preferred.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in automotive repair.
Skills
- Proficiency in diagnostic software and tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay
$40,000 to $150,000 per year based on experience and technician level.
Schedule
Flexible work schedule to accommodate your needs.
Sign-On Bonus
Up to $10,000 bonus based on experience, paid in two installments: 50% after 90 days and 50% after 180 days of employment.
