About the role

Mercs of OC is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our dynamic team at the fastest-growing Mercedes-Benz dealership in the tri-state area. Our state-of-the-art service facility features a modern, climate-controlled environment with the latest tools and technology.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose vehicle issues using both basic and advanced diagnostic methods.
• Perform comprehensive multi-point inspections to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
• Execute maintenance repairs while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Analyze customer concerns and symptoms to identify the root causes of vehicle malfunctions.
• Develop and document repair plans, securing customer approval before proceeding.
• Test repairs to confirm functionality and safety.
• Research technical information and consult with shop foremen to resolve complex issues.

Requirements

• Strong diagnostic skills to accurately identify vehicle issues.
• Knowledge of vehicle structures, functions, and components.
• Trustworthiness, reliability, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive technician certification preferred.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in automotive repair.

Skills

• Proficiency in diagnostic software and tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Pay

$40,000 to $150,000 per year based on experience and technician level.

Flexible work schedule to accommodate your needs.

Sign-On Bonus

Up to $10,000 bonus based on experience, paid in two installments: 50% after 90 days and 50% after 180 days of employment.
