About the role

Chapman Automotive Group seeks experienced Mercedes Benz Fleet Service Technicians to join their team. The role plays a critical part in delivering the best vehicle ownership experience through exceptional customer service and support.

Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough inspections, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
  • Communicate additional services needed to the Service Advisor, providing an estimate of time needed to complete additional repairs.
  • Execute work specified on the repair order per dealership standards.
  • Complete warranty repair work in compliance with manufacturer specifications.
  • Thoroughly document vehicle inspection findings and maintenance recommendations.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of automotive service technician experience.
  • ASE and/or manufacturer certifications are a huge plus!
  • Demonstrates thorough workmanship coupled with strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • General computer skills.
  • Must have your own tools.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and a background check.
