MEP Superintendent - Mission Critical

About the role

As an MEP Superintendent - Mission Critical at Findorff, you will oversee the direction of field operations on mission-critical or data center projects. Your responsibilities include leading and aligning multiple superintendents, managing project schedules, coordinating with subcontractors, and ensuring successful project completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and align multiple superintendents to ensure successful delivery of mission-critical and data center projects
• Oversee overall project success, including scheduling, production, quality, safety, and MEP-related risk management
• Plan and manage MEP scopes, manpower, subcontractors, and short-interval schedules
• Monitor job progress, costs, and site documentation to support testing, commissioning, and Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
• Coordinate energization of critical systems and support third-party commissioning, turnover, and client handoffs
• Execute strategic initiatives and participate in project pursuits, client meetings, and business development efforts
• Build and maintain strong client, industry, and community relationships in collaboration with marketing efforts
• Mentor emerging leaders and support training through STP and subject-specific programs
• Foster a strong safety culture by enforcing OSHA and site-specific safety policies across all teams

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex MEP standalone or multiple projects from initial planning to completion
• Knowledge of Bluebeam, Excel, Microsoft Project & Outlook, PlanGrid, and CMiC
• Experience as a Superintendent on $30 million jobs or larger
• Excellent teaching and mentoring skills
• Able to maintain a productive and efficient crew; able to change the schedule and multitask as needed
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or equivalent combination of education and experience in a Superintendent/Supervisor role
• 10+ years’ experience in commercial construction and 8+ years of field supervision
• 5+ years of experience in MEP-related commercial or data center construction preferred
