Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all MEP construction activities on-site from preconstruction through turnover.
- Monitor contractor performance, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and identify risks, delays, or quality concerns.
- Cook up close with general contractors, trade partners, design teams, and commissioning agents.
- Review construction progress against project milestones and provide detailed reporting to project stakeholders.
- Verify installation compliance with drawings, specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Support startup, testing, commissioning, and final project handover activities.
- Participate in owner, contractor, and subcontractor meetings, ensuring clear communication across all parties.
- Track and resolve field issues, RFIs, and construction conflicts.
- Promote best practices in safety, constructability, and project execution.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in MEP construction, field supervision, or superintendent roles.
- Experience delivering data center, mission critical, healthcare, pharmaceutical, semiconductor, or large-scale commercial projects.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, controls, and commissioning processes.
- Experience working for a general contractor, mission critical contractor, owner's representative, or developer.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain strong site presence.
- Knowledge of construction scheduling, quality control, and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work on project sites across the United States.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct hyperscale or colocation data center experience.
- Familiarity with commissioning and startup activities.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical background.
