MEP Estimator

Brief Description

Our client is a large Construction Management Firm Located in White Plains, NY. They specialize in construction estimating, construction schedules, and oversight that leads to completed, on-time and on-budget projects. Full benefits and great package. They are looking for an MEP Estimator. The ideal candidate will be versed in Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing trades and estimating for large-scale projects in entirety.

Job Function

As an Estimator, you will be an integral part of our fast-paced environment, conducting construction estimating, budgeting, and bidding for a diverse range of exciting projects.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with architects, clients, business development, and operations staff to ensure a crystal-clear understanding of project objectives, schedules, and other essential information.
• Developing hard bids and pricing proposals in response to specific proposal requests
• Obtaining cost information from reliable subcontractors and suppliers
• Coordinating with team to ensure accuracy and efficiency
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant discipline.
• Strong mathematical and organizational skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy.
• Proficient in reading plans and performing comprehensive takeoffs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and thrive in a dynamic work environment.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft suite software and Adobe Acrobat, allowing you to work efficiently.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, ensuring smooth collaboration with all stakeholders.
• Senior Level: A proven track record with at least 5 years of experience in estimating within a professional construction firm with a focus on MEP estimates, demonstrating your expertise and proficiency.
