MEP Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Aid in plumbing, fire protection, and related MEP system design and coordination.
  • Perform hydraulic calculations, pipe sizing, equipment layouts, and system development.
  • Prepare construction documents using Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Participate in field surveys, coordination meetings, construction site visits, and project reviews.
  • Collaborate with architects and other engineering disciplines under the direction of senior staff.
  • Support projects from schematic design through construction administration.
  • Respond to Request for Information (RFIs), review submittals, and resolve field issues.

Qualifications

  • 2-7 years of experience in MEP design, plumbing, fire protection, drafting, BIM/modeling, or related internships.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
  • Familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Interest in building systems design, engineering coordination, and technical problem-solving.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Engineer-in-Training certification or progress toward professional licensure is a plus.
