MEP Engineer Pascagoula, MS | In-Person | $90K - $110K+ /yr DOE | Full-TimeA well established and growing full service architecture and engineering firm with decades of experience serving clients across the Southeast is looking to add a hands-on Electrical Engineer to their building systems group. This is a team that cares about their people and gives engineers a real path toward taking ownership of their own projects.What You'll Do:Draft and design electrical systems yourself in AutoCAD and/or Revit, this is a hands-on role, not a design review positionBuild out power distribution systems and electrical one-linesHandle lighting design, fire alarm layout, and low voltage systems, along with panel schedulesRun lighting calculations, load calculations, and branch circuitingDraft specifications and construction documents for active projectsCollaborate closely with architects and mechanical/structural engineers to keep designs code compliantContribute to a steady mix of education, government, and commercial projectsStay involved from early design all the way through construction supportWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldHands-on AutoCAD skills are required, Revit MEP knowledge is a plusDirect experience designing power, lighting, fire alarm, or low voltage systemsBackground in K-12, education, government, or institutional projects is a big plus5kV or 15kV medium voltage design experience is a strong plusPE, EIT, or FE licensure, or a genuine interest in pursuing a PE, is a plus but not requiredSolid understanding of NEC and local code requirementsWhat's In It For You:Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance401(k) with a 4% company match12 paid holidays plus 2 weeks of PTOExposure to a broad and interesting mix of building projectsA firm that supports licensure and long term career growthOpenings like this don't stay open long.
