Job Description Coordinate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems throughout project planning and construction.Lead and facilitate MEP coordination meetings with subcontractors, consultants, and project teams.Manage clash detection and resolution efforts to identify and mitigate constructability issues before installation.Partner with project managers, field teams, and trade partners to ensure successful integration of building systems.Review plans, models, and design documents to support quality, constructability, and schedule requirements.Track and resolve MEP-related issues, RFIs, and coordination challenges across multiple active projects.Support project teams on large-scale healthcare, higher education, institutional, and commercial construction projects.Utilize project management and coordination tools to improve communication, collaboration, and project execution.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant A Successful MEP Coordinator Should Have 3-10 years of experience in MEP coordination, construction project management, or a related field.Experience coordinating MEP systems on complex construction projects.Background working on healthcare, higher education, life science, institutional, or large commercial projects.Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems.Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, superintendents, trade partners, and design teams.
