Mental Health Worker Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Unit

About the role

The Intellectual Disabilities and Autism Unit is a specialized inpatient unit for the psychiatric evaluation, stabilization, and treatment of adults with co-occuring developmental and psychiatric disorders. This is a 6-bed unit that offers a behavioral approach to care for these dually diagnosed adults.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the planning and evaluation of patient needs based on patient behaviors.
• Provide direct patient care services in accordance with the treatment plan and under the direction of a professional nurse.
• Auxiliary in providing a safe and therapeutic environment according to established policies and procedures.

Requirements

• HS Diploma/GED.
• Human Services related degree or past direct care, or related experience strongly preferred.
• Must be available to work 4 shifts per month and every other weekend.

Qualifications

All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $19.06 minimum to $22.95 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.

Schedule

This is a part-time, on-call position that requires availability to work 12 hour shifts 7am-7pm/7pm-7am.
