Mental Health Worker
Job Summary
As our Mental Health Worker, you will help patients receive basic care, observations, and custodial care so they can maintain their well-being and progress in their treatment.
Responsibilities
- Communicates, records, and reports promptly to the licensed nursing personnel vitals, treatment results, changes in patients condition, observations, patient complaints, and other pertinent information regarding the patient.
- Promptly answers patients requests.
- Follow-up on patient care responsibilities and assignments left from previous shift and reports to team leader any incomplete assignments to ensure continuity of care.
- Performs direct patient care activities for specific patient population according to established policies and procedures; adapts techniques to unique needs of each patient.
- Responsible for the cleaning and organizing patient room, clothing and belongings.
- Maintains supplies in a safe and efficient manner and reports maintenance and repairs as needed.
Job Requirements
- Required Minimum of one (1) year Mental Health Worker experience working with psychiatric patients either in an inpatient, residential, outpatient setting or comparable equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant: CA or Emergency Medical Technician: CAAHA
- Basic Life Support

$24.00 - $28.02 /hour
