Mental Health Worker, Child and Adolescent Inpatient Behavioral Health

About the role

This position is being recruited and hired by Sheppard Pratt Solutions on behalf of Beverly Hospital - a Sheppard Pratt Partner. This role will be based at Beverly Hospital in Amesbury, MA. Backed by Sheppard Pratt - the nation's largest private, nonprofit behavioral health provider - Sheppard Pratt Solutions partners with community hospitals to expand access to high-quality mental healthcare, bringing essential services closer to those in need. Under the supervision of the nurse manager, you will provide patient-centered care in a supportive, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Delivering empathetic care by maintaining calm, courteous, and thoughtful interactions with patients and families.
• Responding to patient inquiries and concerns while adhering to confidentiality policies.
• Maintaining an organized, safe, and therapeutic treatment space.
• Contributing to evidence-based assessment and therapeutic interventions.
• Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
• Accurately documenting patient care activities, including treatment planning and therapeutic interventions.

Requirements

• Required: High school diploma or GED.
• Required: Familiarity with children and adolescent assessment.
• Preferred: An advanced degree in a human services field.
• Preferred: Experience working with children and adolescents in an inpatient setting.
