Mental Health Worker Adult Mood Disorder

12- hour shifts 36 weekly hours 7am - 7pm (including rotating weekends) Towson, Md: In-person As a Mental Health Worker you will: Participate in the planning and evaluation of patient needs based on patient behaviors.Provide direct patient care services in accordance with the treatment plan and under the direction of a professional nurse.Assist in providing a safe and therapeutic environment according to established policies and procedures. Requirements: Education Required: Work requires the ability to read and follow up on documentation in the patient’s record with writing skills sufficient to complete required patient documentation, basic computer usage skills, and oral communication skills sufficient to communicate effectively - acquired through a high school education. Experience: A Maryland Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification may be accepted in lieu of a high school education. The certification must be active upon hire and continuously maintained throughout employment in the position. Human Services related degree or past direct care or related experience strongly preferred.Must be available to work every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday).All new clinical staff will begin their extended clinical orientation/training immediately following your first day of employment The pay range for this position is $19.36 minimum to $28.70 maximum. Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, years and level of related experience.
