Mental Health Therapist - Trainee

About the role

The MHT Trainee will provide a full range of educationally related mental health services to students in grades TK - 12, including assessment, development of individual treatment plans and individual and group counseling.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and diagnosis of student mental health needs
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students
• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student mental health
• Participate in ongoing professional development and training

Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor degree (or higher) in psychology or related field (required)
• Must be eligible to participate in Mental Health Therapist trainee hours
• Must be enrolled in a university program working towards a current Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) or clinical Social Work (LCSW) license

Pay

Single Rate: $30,000

Schedule

7.5 hours per week, 4 days per week
