MENTAL HEALTH THERAPIST - PER DIEM

Essential Duties

• Counsels and refers clients and their household members.
• Develops and conducts training sessions for contract companies and other stakeholders.
• Maintains client records and consults with contract companies.

Job Requirements

• Licensed Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Master’s Social Worker (LLMSW) with relevant experience.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Certification in Case Management preferred.
• Minimum three years of social work experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience in acute care case management, discharge planning, utilization management, performance improvement, and managed care reimbursement is preferred.

Education and Certifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work.
• Recipient Rights training within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.
• Corporate Compliance training within 30 days of hire and annually thereafter.

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound judgments.
• Ability to use a keyboard as needed to perform job duties.
