About the role
We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist to play a critical role in our collaborative care model. This position focuses on delivering behavioral health interventions for patients managing obesity and related chronic conditions. You will work alongside a high-performing clinical team, including Nurse Practitioners, Registered Dietitians, and Exercise Specialists, to support whole-person patient care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and behavioral health assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on behavior change and lifestyle modification
- Provide evidence-based therapy (CBT, motivational interviewing, etc.)
- Support patients with emotional, behavioral, and psychological barriers to weight management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Engage patients to improve retention, adherence, and outcomes
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in: Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy
- Active Maryland licensure required: LCSW-C (Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical), LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor), LCMFT (Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist)
- 1-2+ years of clinical experience (behavioral health, outpatient, or integrated care preferred)
- Experience working with adults and/or adolescents
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills
Qualifications

Pay
- $85,000 - $95,000 (based on experience)
