About the role

We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist to play a critical role in our collaborative care model. This position focuses on delivering behavioral health interventions for patients managing obesity and related chronic conditions. You will work alongside a high-performing clinical team, including Nurse Practitioners, Registered Dietitians, and Exercise Specialists, to support whole-person patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and behavioral health assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on behavior change and lifestyle modification
  • Provide evidence-based therapy (CBT, motivational interviewing, etc.)
  • Support patients with emotional, behavioral, and psychological barriers to weight management
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Engage patients to improve retention, adherence, and outcomes

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in: Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage & Family Therapy
  • Active Maryland licensure required: LCSW-C (Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical), LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor), LCMFT (Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist)
  • 1-2+ years of clinical experience (behavioral health, outpatient, or integrated care preferred)
  • Experience working with adults and/or adolescents
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills

Qualifications

Pay

  • $85,000 - $95,000 (based on experience)

Schedule

  • 4-Day Work Week (10-hour shifts | Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri)
