About the role
We are seeking a licensed Mental Health Therapist (LCSW-C, LCPC, or LCMFT) to support our Silver Spring clinic.
This position is ideal for a therapist who enjoys variety, collaboration, and relationship-building across multiple clinical teams.
You will play a key role in delivering behavioral health interventions within our integrated care model, supporting patients managing obesity and related chronic conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and behavioral health assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on behavior change and lifestyle modification
- Provide evidence-based therapy (CBT, motivational interviewing, etc.)
- Support patients with emotional, behavioral, and psychological barriers to weight management
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Engage patients to improve retention, adherence, and outcomes
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in:
- Social Work
- Counseling
- Marriage & Family Therapy
- Active Maryland licensure required:
- LCSW-C (Licensed Certified Social Worker-Clinical)
- LCPC (Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor)
- LCMFT (Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist)
- 1–2+ years of clinical experience (behavioral health, outpatient, or integrated care preferred)
- Experience working with adults and/or adolescents
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills
