Responsibilities

  • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families, creating a welcoming environment for diverse backgrounds.
  • Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy based on the unique needs of each client, fostering healing and resilience.
  • Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention plans, and wellness plans to support stable functioning.
  • Actively participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning to enhance client care.
  • Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms.
  • Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, administrative staff, and fellow therapists for a holistic approach to mental health.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field.
  • Provisional license per state regulation, if required.
  • Educational background leading to or resulting in professional licensing.
  • Passion for mental health and commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Dedication to ongoing professional development, including free supervision and continuing education.
  • Eagerness to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance client care.
  • Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and complete documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.

Pay

The base compensation range for this role is $42.50 – $47.50 per billable unit. Actual compensation may vary based on licensure, experience, market-driven enhancements, and incentive opportunities.
