We've transformed into a leading community health center in the Pacific Northwest with 40+ clinics across Washington and Oregon. Our holistic model offers a wide range of services including medical, dental, pharmacy, orthodontia, nutritional counseling, autism screening, behavioral health, shelter assistance, energy and weatherization support, HIV/AIDS counseling, home visits, and mobile medical/dental clinics.
Pay
- Mental Health Worker III: $92,602.00 yearly compensation
- Hiring Bonus: $6,000.00 (pro-rated based on Full Time Equivalency)
- At Hire: $1,800.00
- At 180 days (6 months): $2,400.00
- At 12 months: $1,800.00
- Hiring Bonus: $6,000.00 (pro-rated based on Full Time Equivalency)
- Mental Health Worker IV: $102,500.00 yearly compensation
- Hiring Bonus: $7,000.00 (pro-rated based on Full Time Equivalency)
- At Hire: $2,100.00
- At 180 days (6 months): $2,800.00
- At 12 months: $2,100.00
- Hiring Bonus: $7,000.00 (pro-rated based on Full Time Equivalency)

Responsibilities
- Complete the Integrated Biopsychosocial Assessment and intake sessions with clients
- Formulate a mental health diagnosis using the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders V (DSM V) standards
- Develop an initial treatment plan incorporating standard practice guidelines for each diagnosis
- Review and update the treatment plan with the client and others involved in the individual’s care as appropriate
- Measure change and adjust treatment as needed
- Document assessments and care provided in the client’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) and complete all documentation as required
- Complete encounters and associated documentation according to YVFWC requirements and coding and billing rules
- Respond to crisis situations with assigned individuals, assess urgency of needs, and help obtain appropriate services
- Assist individuals and families in obtaining additional mental health services and other social resources as needed
- Document all referrals made to YVFWC case manager or other resources
- Work with individuals to transition and maintain a presence in a community setting after psychiatric hospitalizations
- Present mental health findings in verbal or written format to appropriate professionals
- Provide case presentations for peer review
- Perform clinical responsibilities in alignment with The Joint Commission (TJC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and YVFWC requirements
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
We are looking for a licensed therapist with the following attributes:
- Direct experience treating children or adolescents
- Ability to engage with all levels of an interdisciplinary team
- Experience handling complex, multi-service treatment plans that may require expertise in evidence-based practices
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred but not required
Qualifications
Education: Master’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field.
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 45 days of hire.
We will hire either Mental Health Worker III or Mental Health Worker IV, depending on qualifications:
Mental Health Worker III
- Preferred Experience:
- Two years’ experience in the direct treatment of persons with mental illness or emotional disturbance under the supervision of a mental health professional
- One year’s full-time experience in the treatment of children under the supervision of a children’s mental health specialist
- Licenses/Registration (must apply for within one week of hire if not current):
- Licensed Social Worker Associate Advanced (LSWAA)
- Licensed Social Worker Associate Independent Clinical (LSWAIC)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA)
- Agency Affiliated Counselor (can only be applied for and completed after hire)
Mental Health Worker IV
- Required Experience:
- Two years’ post-graduate experience in the direct treatment of persons with mental illness or emotional disturbance
- One year's full-time experience in the treatment of children is preferred
- Licenses/Certificates/Registration (must apply for within one week of hire if not current):
- Licensed Advanced Social Worker (LASW)
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
