Starting Compensation

$77,755.92 - $93,307.10 USD per year

Working Location & Schedule

San Jose: North San Jose Center (in-person position)
Full-time, Monday–Friday, AM shift (9:00 am–5:30 pm)

Qualifications

Education:
Master’s degree in a mental health field
Will consider: Awaiting BBS registration number – 90 days after date of hire

Experience:
MHSII: Two (2) years of experience in a mental health field; preferred experience with children or adolescents in residential or outpatient settings
MHSIII: Two (2) years of experience in a mental health field; preferred experience with children or adolescents in residential or outpatient settings

License or Certification:
MHSII: Current BBS registration as an Associate (AMFT, ASW, APCC) OR awaiting BBS registration number
MHSIII: LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW license in California
Must possess a valid California Driver's License and maintain a driving record that meets the company driver's eligibility policy

Responsibilities

This position has primary responsibility for providing mental health services and case management services to individuals and their families referred to Community Services. Services may include:

  • Engagement, assessment, and evaluation
  • Individual, family, and group therapy
  • Case management
  • Acting as liaison with external agencies
  • Functioning on teams with other clinical and support staff
  • Documenting and billing for mental health and case management services
  • Completing outcomes information

Division/Program Overview

Programs: Youth consented program
Population Served: Clients aged 12–21 years old
Facility & Setting: Community, home-based, and juvenile justice systems (Ranch, juvenile hall)
Clinical Services: Provides mental health services to youth involved in juvenile and child welfare systems
Skills & Services: Wraparound approach provides services to entire family; participates in 24/7 on-call system (pay differential)
