Mental Health Therapist
About the role
The Independent Mental Health Therapist at CHI Health Clinic provides compassionate and effective psychotherapy and counseling services to clients managing mental health challenges. You will independently evaluate and assess the bio-psycho-social needs of patients, treat mental health disorders through various treatment modalities, and maintain clinical documentation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions
- Maintain strict standards of ethical behavior including confidentiality
- Evaluate and assess bio-psycho-social needs of patients
- Treat mental health disorders using individual, group, family, and significant other counseling and education
- Provide crisis intervention when needed
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, peers, coworkers, and the community
Requirements
- Masters degree in Counseling, Social Work, Nursing, or a related behavioral health field
- Independent Mental Health Practitioner/Counselor or Social Worker license in Nebraska
- Three years of post-license experience in a mental health/addiction recovery or related field (preferred)
Preferred
- Three years of post-license experience in a mental health/addiction recovery or related field

Pay
The posted compensation range is $32.85 - $39.07 /hour, reflecting the lowest to highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
Schedule
Work schedule is Monday-Friday part time, days, with 40 hours per week.
