Mental Health Therapist

About the role

Join a dedicated mental health team as a Therapist, providing culturally sensitive assessments and tailored outpatient individual and family therapy to diverse clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct strength-based assessments and create welcoming environments for clients from varied backgrounds.
• Develop safety, crisis, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to support client stability.
• Participate in case consultations, discharge planning, and team collaboration to enhance client care.
• Complete documentation, treatment plans, billing, and insurance authorizations accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, and administrative staff.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or related field.
• Provisional license if required by state regulation.
• Passion for mental health and commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Strong communication skills, ethical practice, and ability to build rapport.
• Effective time management for documentation and administrative tasks.
