Mental Health Therapist

About the role

As a therapist, you will conduct culturally sensitive assessments, provide outpatient individual and family therapy, and develop crisis, safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to support client stability. You will engage in case consultations, contribute to discharge planning, and ensure accurate documentation, billing, and insurance authorization. Collaborative care with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists and nurse practitioners, is essential to delivering holistic mental health services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field
• Provisional license if required
• Passion for mental health and ongoing professional development
• Strong communication, ethical practice, and time management skills
• Ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively
