Mental Health Therapist

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to provide culturally sensitive assessments, individual and family outpatient therapy, and develop crisis and wellness plans. The therapist will participate in case consultations, discharge planning, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic mental health care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct strength-based assessments for diverse clients and families.
• Provide tailored outpatient therapy to support client resilience and healing.
• Develop safety, relapse prevention, and wellness plans to promote stability.
• Contribute to case consultations, meetings, and discharge planning.
• Complete billing, documentation, treatment plans, and insurance forms accurately.
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, dietitians, and staff.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related field.
• Provisional license per state requirements, if applicable.
• Passion for mental health and commitment to high-quality, ethical care.
• Strong communication skills, rapport-building, and confidentiality adherence.
• Effective time management and administrative skills.
• Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development and supervision.
