About the Role

Lyra’s provider network is composed of in-person and virtual therapists, physicians, and coaches across the US. With our advanced matching technology, supportive provider platform, and opportunities for training and clinical consultation, being part of our network is an incredible chance to focus on client care while receiving support for administrative tasks like self-promotion and scheduling.

This opportunity is ideal for independently licensed clinical therapists interested in providing culturally responsive, evidence-based therapy for children, adults, couples, and/or families. We welcome clinicians with experience managing a comprehensive spectrum of mental health needs, from milder presentations to more complex and severe cases. This role is well-suited for providers seeking well-matched, motivated clients, administrative and marketing support, and streamlined invoicing with quick payments. The ability to work with clients in person through your private or group practice is strongly preferred.

We are looking for clinicians who can provide care in these New Mexico locations: Hobbs, Los Lunas, and Carlsbad.

Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based therapy (e.g., ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT) and adhere to clinical best practices (e.g., measurement-based care, promoting skills practice).
  • Deliver in-person care to children, adults, couples, and/or families in the New Mexico area.
  • Manage risk and respond to clinical crises as needed.

Requirements

  • Master’s or doctoral degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC, PhD, PsyD).
  • Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license (able to work independently without supervision). No current, past, or pending disciplinary action.
  • Experience and commitment to providing evidence-based treatments and clinical best practices.
  • Ability to provide care to children, adults, couples, and/or families, with a strong preference for in-person delivery.
  • Office space with the ability to see clients in the New Mexico area.
  • Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises.
  • Full-time resident of the United States.

Benefits

  • Connect with highly compatible clients through Lyra’s powerful matching algorithm.
  • Set your own schedule without minimum hours requirements.
  • Use Lyra’s Calendar feature for seamless client booking and calendar integration.
  • Reduce administrative burden with paperless billing and quick payment turnaround.
  • Access Lyra’s clinical consultations team for rapid support and specialty group consultation meetings.
  • Receive 24/7 crisis support from Lyra’s Care Navigation team.
  • Upskill with free, CE-credited courses approved by APA, ASWB, and NBCC.
  • Stay informed with monthly newsletters and robust Help Center resources for providers.
  • Attend exclusive provider events with Lyra’s clinical leaders.
