About the role
Mentally healthy individuals contribute to their communities in meaningful ways. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will be part of a team dedicated to supporting clients in achieving and maintaining mental wellness. Your primary responsibility is to provide therapy services to clients within a contracted provider network.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients in accordance with professional standards and ethical guidelines.
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers and community organizations to expand your client base.
- Collaborate with the provider network to ensure quality care and adherence to treatment plans.
- Participate in regular supervision and continuing education to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
- Licensed to practice as a Mental Health Therapist in Michigan.
- Experience working with diverse populations and in various settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Qualifications
- Strong commitment to mental health advocacy and community service.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR).
