New Employee Retention Bonus

New Employee Retention Bonus: $2,000.00 available for NOC positions. A New Employee is defined as someone who has not been employed with Rogers for more than six months.

Hiring Information

  • Full and Part-time positions, including PRN Overnight roles.
  • Mandatory attendance at New Hire Orientation for two weeks, Monday through Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Aid patients with daily activities and provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Transport patients to and from appointments, clinics, laboratories, and treatments.
  • Facilitate and transport patients for community outings and meetings.
  • Ensure safe medication practices and observe residents for behavioral changes.
  • Support the training and development of new and current team members.
  • Provide therapeutic care, lead groups, and one-on-one sessions.
  • Respond to emergencies and support visitor safety.
  • Document residents' daily progress and ensure safety.
  • Orient and educate patients upon admission and complete discharge processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Job Description

  • Maintain a current knowledge base of department processes, protocols, and procedures.
  • Pursue self-directed learning and continuing education opportunities.
  • Participate on committees, task forces, and work groups as determined by management.

Education/Training Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or 4-years related experience.
  • Must be at least 18 years old for all units.
  • For Adolescent Units, must be at least 18 years old and at least 2 years older than the oldest resident.
  • Current active driver's license and good standing.
  • Formal Training Required Within 30 Days of Hire:
    • American Heart Association CPR certification.
    • Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) training.
    • Community Based Residential Facility (CBRF) training.
    • Supervised Traineeship Program – 160-hour requirement.
    • Medication Administration Certification – within 90 days of hire.
