Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to psychiatric inpatients under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Provides ongoing monitoring and observation of patients to ensure safety and wellbeing
- Promotes communication and therapeutic relationships with patients
- Affords assistance with physical care under the direction of an RN
Requirements
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- High School or Equivalent
- FL Driver's License
- Preferred: Associate's in Healthcare/Psychology
- Preferred: CNA/PCT
- Experience: 6 months - Psychology based experience
Qualifications
This position requires Level II screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse, managed by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).
